I LOVE music. For those of you who read my post on what’s in my purse, you know I proudly carry around an iPod classic and have for years. It’s filled with music. For those of you who read my post on what my latest obsession is, you know all I’ve listened to lately is tobyMac. Here’s just a triad of songs I’m connecting with really well right now (and don’t be surprised if you find some tMac on the list!):
1. “Backseat Driver” by tobyMac
My favorite line is, “I want Your way, Yahweh, from dirt roads to highways.” I don’t think there’s any lyric that could more strongly resonate with a daughter of the Motor City.
2. “First” by Lauren Daigle
I first heard this on the radio and I love it. I haven’t actually bought it for myself yet, but it’s top of the list for when I next find time to peruse iTunes. It’s raw and honest. You need this. I need this.
3. “Run Wild” by for King & Country
I think all I have to say about this is wrapped up right here. (The W is optional.)
