Hey y’all! I’m Casey and I blog over at “The Aslan’s Auspicious Albany Adventure“. Today I’m hanging out over here in Annie’s space to let you know just why I’m so proud to be a Texan.
Now I’m quite jealous that Annie is visiting where I call home. Why you ask?
Well about a year ago I got married, then immediately moved to New York with my new husband to fend for ourselves in the North East. As much as we have enjoyed our time here, Texas will always be home.
A “hello” or “howdy” as you’re walking down the street.
The home of Southern hospitality. Need anything? It’s yours…and no you won’t have to ask.
A huge glass of iced tea. Served sweet with endless refills on the back porch on a Sunday afternoon.
Part of the “Bible Belt,” but filled with people who love Jesus and can’t wait to share His grace with you.
A line dance, where no one gets left to sit on the sidelines.
A dooley ton truck…because everything really is bigger in Texas.
Filled with more pride than those Yankee fans…and believe me. That’s a lot of pride.
But most importantly, Texas is home.
Won’t you come join in our adventure to see how we are surviving life in the North East?
We’d love to have you!
