I went to Starbucks with my friend Kristen yesterday.
Now, I can’t stand coffee. So you may ask, “Why on earth would you go to Starbucks if you don’t like coffee?” I am actually obsessed with hot chocolate from there, which may be lame. I don’t care how lame it is. They make good hot chocolate. They also make good strawberry creme frappuccinos. I tried those at the beginning of the summer–on another outing with Kristen–and they’re quite delicious, in my opinion. But I digress.
Regardless of whether I like coffee or not, Starbucks always radiates a friendly atmosphere. There’s really nothing comparable to sitting down at a table with a friend and a cup of whatever you like that they make, and talking, for hours. Kristen and I only had two of them, but as always, we made the best of those two hours! We’re heading to the same college, and we talked about that, life decisions we might be making, hilarious predictions for the future, and probably close to everything else you could think about. It was just nice to sit and feel no pressure to be anything, but just allow myself to chill out and talk honestly with a friend who was doing the same.
Anybody else a fan of coffee chats? And why? Comment!
