this series has been an interesting one.
i thought it’d be a lot like last year, that i’d be writing a short essay almost every day, the same way i did when we explored practical faith this past year.
and instead, it’s been a lot different.
i don’t remember writing a whole lot for this series, although i know i must have, but looking over it, i see some posts about the unfurling, some poetry (which i rarely write and almost never share), and worship songs i’m loving at the moment.
this series has been less learning and then telling you about passionate faith and more demonstrating and living it as i learn it. and i would like to think, and i pray fervently, that this series has begun to show you, as it has shown me, what living a life of passionate faith looks like: doing all, even what we do infrequently, for the glory of God alone.
this is our beginning, even as this series begins like curtains to draw slowly closed. and as we live our new beginning, let us unfurl brightly and firmly for His kingdom.
