I know this is my third post since Wednesday officially began at midnight, but please bear with me. This is important stuff right here.
Shopping at Meijer Lesson #1: Always get a cart. Always.
I learned this particular lesson the hard way when I was trying to carry a bunch of stuff already, and tried to add a twelve-pack of root beer to it. Steph and I cracked open part of the box, thinking it was the handle. Instead, it turned out to be the part that you pull off so you can have the box in the refrigerator and neatly pull out the cans. But we only figured that part out after I dropped the box and the cans spilled out across the aisle I was in. Yeah. It was embarrassing.
Shopping at Meijer Lesson #2: Make a list.
I learned this the not-so-hard way, thankfully. I am nearly out of hair gel, and me being out of hair gel is absolutely disastrous, since it’s the reason my hair curls as tightly as it does, and without frizzing. So the trip to Meijer was mainly to replenish my stash. Half an hour later, I was walking out of Meijer. Without hair gel. It was a heartrending realization. Thankfully Ryssa is going back tomorrow, so I’ll get my hair gel, but believe me, a list would have negated the second trip. *sigh*
