i’m linking up with lauren to show pictures of my childhood.
and since the collection of pictures i happen to have on my laptop is rather miscellaneous, i’m also linking up with carissa.
i was a very happy baby.
as a toddler, i would pull out all the books from the shelves i could reach, surround myself with them, and just look at the pages.
clearly the fascination with words goes back a long way.
we put this picture on my high school graduation invitations.
it might be making a reappearance on the college grad announcements.
hi, baby brother!
isn’t he cute?
i turned three shortly thereafter, and had my party at the leaps ‘n’ bounds my aunt and uncle owned at the time.
it’s like a kid’s paradise. and it’s where the next two pictures were taken.
i’ve always been very, well, expressive with my facial expressions. but that still doesn’t keep me from wanting to know the story behind one expressed above.
here are the three musketeers:
i’m in the middle. the other two girls are my cousins a & c. a (top) is getting married this fall. which is weird to think about, because i feel like we’re supposed to be running around leaps ‘n’ bounds and playing dress-up in the basement of the duplex my grandparents lived in rather than running around to buy bridal shower gifts and dressing up for real.
speaking of growing up…
at three or four, it’s fun. at twenty, is it really time to mow the lawn again?!
this was my fifth grade spring picture.
i wasn’t allowed to wear t-shirts more than once a week growing up, so i’m surprised one made it into a school picture.
this was my ninth grade school picture.
that tank top was from aéropostale.
since you were wondering.
to round out the miscellany, here’s a picture from just after high school.
meet leo the mouse! he belonged to my friend k’s family.
what? i didn’t say it was going to be of me! and it is miscellany monday, after all.
