Next Monday I move back up to school for the year. Whoa. That’s really soon. I haven’t even started packing yet. Ohhhh dear.
I have an eye appointment tomorrow, which means as of then, I will not be wearing my brother’s contact lenses anymore. This is definite good news.
I love the smell and taste of all things vanilla. Yesterday I discovered a bottle of warm vanilla sugar lotion from Bath and Body Works and I got really excited. And I’m also happy to know that the only container of Febreze in our house at the moment smells like vanilla and cookies. And vanilla bean ice cream? Definitely rocks the world.
Our church is doing a series on how we as Christians bear the name of Christ and so should bear His image. Can we just take a moment to contemplate how distressed I am that I’m moving back up to school next week? I’m missing over half this series. I’m hoping there are audio files online so I can listen to them anyway.
I’ve been getting my textbooks in the mail these past couple weeks. One of them is called Language Myths. The fact that my major is English is in no way indicative of the fact that I’m an English nerd, and so there is no way that I sat down yesterday and began reading Language Myths. Seriously, though, depending on where I take my career after I earn this expensive degree of mine, I may decide to get my Master’s in linguistics. We’ll see how that goes.
