Lauren has decided to start a blog hop and it looks interesting, so I’m joining in! :]
So here is my life – at this moment:
I’m Annie. I’m nineteen. I’ll be a junior in college this fall, majoring in English literature. That may not sound fun, but to this English and grammar nerd, it’s lots. :] I love to read and write. I’m thinking about going into editing after I graduate from college. My favorite color is orange. I’m learning the art of fearlessness. Yes, I think that’s an art. One at which I’m terrible, but hey, that’s the learning process.
I’m listening to:
No music, which is a surprise. I can hear the sounds of my brother and dad playing MechAssault though.
I started this really good book at Borders recently called She Walks in Beauty by Siri Mitchell. I didn’t buy it – but I probably will once I get back to a bookstore. And I’m about to start Danger in the Shadows by Dee Henderson. It’s the prequel to the O’Malley series – which, as I believe I have previously stipulated, is an awesome series.
I’m thinking about:
Sleeping. And when Liz comes to visit next week. And how I’m really sick of how much time I’ve spent inside my house this last month.
I’m inspired by:
Skillfully crafted rhetoric. I wrote a paper on Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address for my final paper in American lit, fall semester. It never ceases to amaze me, Lincoln’s ability to write. He was the last president to write his own speeches. And I am oh-so-thankful that he wrote his own!
Random picture of the week:
No, it was not that hot – hallelujah! The car had been sitting in the garage all day and so when I pulled out to pick my mother up from work that’s what it read. It was actually in the seventies that day, but felt milder.
