christmas really is coming. :] steph and kelsey brought christmas decorations up for our apartment. it looks festive and i’m excited. i’ll put pictures up soon.
i get to see liz and kati today. that’s just happy.
i got rid of my facebook saturday. this is the third time i’ve deactivated my account and i am thrilled to pieces. i’m just tired of maintaining another online presence. i am hoping that this deactivation leads to permanent deletion – but we’ll see about that.
yesterday was a month to my birthday. i’m trying to think of what i’d like to do to celebrate it on the blog. i was thinking of taking questions from y’all and posting the answers on my birthday. what do you think? i am open to other suggestions if you have any.
i am secretly convinced that our new york city poster is crooked. at the same time, i am secretly convinced it’s straight and i’m just being paranoid.
i think i’ve given up on michigan football. but, my high school alma mater won the DII state championships friday at ford field. yeahhh!
my hair is curly again. i got it trimmed the weekend before thanksgiving and kept it straight through the holiday weekend, but it’s curly now and it’s going to stay that way. i have no intention of splitting any more ends of hair than necessary, since i’ve been trying to grow my hair out to my waist for several years and i am so tired of waiting for it to grow!
ahhh, patience. it’s something i am constantly learning.
God has a purpose for the times of waiting in our life. and really, sometimes our whole life can feel like a time of waiting, and really it is in some ways…it’s in those times that we’re waiting for these things that we think we need or we want that life happens and you discover what you really believe about God. and it’s in those times that we draw closest to God.
