I discovered this the Saturday before classes began that proactivity doesn’t kill anyone.
This is significant (for me, at least) because I ordinarily say I procrastinated my way through high school. Which is more or less true. But I actually did homework before school had even started. On the syllabus from which I got the homework, it said homework was neither checked nor due. Essentially meaning, I didn’t have to do it.
But I did it anyway.
This past week I’ve been a little bad on the doing homework end for this class. But today I came straight from class and did it.
And strangely, I’m not dead. (What?? Total surprise…)
So I think I might actually keep doing my homework proactively rather than procrastinating it. Because besides still being alive, proactivity actually makes me feel a little bit… happy…
