relevant notes tagged me last week to write a list of seven things about myself. i always like these, because it’s fun to get to know a little more about the people whose blogs you read. i always hate these, because i can never think of anything to write about. i am awful at those icebreaker games where you have to come up with facts about yourself.
i suppose that counts as fact one – ha!
here are the other six:
two. i keep my phone on the 24 hour clock. i don’t really have any concrete reason for doing so. although i did discover, to my amusement, that midnight on a 24 hour clock is 00:00. i think that alone is a satisfactory reason to keep my phone on military time.
three. i can sleep through just about anything. which means i’m not a very easy person to get up. thankfully, my phone alarms have been spectacular at getting me out of bed like a streaking bullet. i’m not really sure how that works, because as i said, i can sleep through just about anything, but it does and for that i’m grateful.
four. i can ice skate pretty well and pretty fast, and i can skate backwards in a passable manner.
but i can’t stop.
you read that right. i can’t stop. i know how to do it but i’ve never actually done it. so instead i slow down until i’m pretty much stopped or i use the boards to stop myself. someday, i am dragging my brother to the ice arena and making him help me figure it out. until then, i’ll be stopping annie style.
five. i have a firm belief that i’m cold-blooded.* i am always cold. my parents keep their thermostat at 68 or 70 depending on the season and at school we keep it at 70. i’m still cold.
*okay, not really. i know humans are inherently warm-blooded.
six. i eat the edges of pop-tarts first and then the middle, because the filling is my favorite part and i believe in saving the best for last. i probably look ridiculous while doing it, but i do it anyway.
seven. i drink way too much
pop soda coke. ;] a friend of mine said she made it her new year’s resolution to not drink pop for a year and she stuck to it. i’m thinking i might need to do something similar, or at least cut back on how much i drink. schnaaaa.*
*one of my words of frustration
i am supposed to tag fifteen people but i’m not actually going to since i tagged people to do a similar exercise in december. if you’re inclined to share seven facts, consider yourself tagged, then leave me the link in the comments so i can read it!
