the time was ripe, i felt, for a new blog design.
by the time was ripe i mean i was sitting down doing random things which suddenly turned into redesigning my blog. isn’t that how it always happens?
i actually already had an idea for the second design of what she saw within a week of installing the first. the header was going to be in this graffiti looking font, aligned to the left, and all in black.
somehow that turned into green type and purple arrows, in a lowercase-only font, aligned center. and that’s the design that’s sat for months until i could muster the energy to deal with a new blog design.
the font i used for the header, post and sidebar titles is called airplane. appropriate since i just told you i’m boarding one in july.
speaking of that, i added a little button for spain, linking to the post from yesterday, along with the paypal donate button, in the sidebar under the about me information for easy access.
on a completely unrelated note, yesterday i was at work when i discovered red and pink boxes of amazingness.
(those of you who are new to what she saw should know red and pink are my least two favorite colors and on approximately no occasion do i associate them with amazingness.)
those red and pink boxes held POCKY.
i talked about pocky all day to anyone who would listen. if you have not had pocky, run to your nearest grocery store. if they don’t have it, run to the next. and if that doesn’t work, shoot, email me and i’ll tell you where i work so you can go find some. because seriously, pocky is the best.
(if you’ve never had it, it’s a long, thin biscuit dipped in melted chocolate. there is also a strawberry flavor. they are both delicious.)
i think i had a whole box eaten within fifteen minutes of buying it. it’s a problem. it’s also delicious.
for those of you who usually link up with ashley‘s girl behind the blog, know this: i am very passionate about pocky. also, i didn’t make a video because i was too busy eating pocky.
i am also passionate about history. this is partially because my first box of chocolate pocky is history, but only partially.
and this is why i should never, ever write a blog post at 230am. (can you imagine if i had vlogged this one? i can’t even type properly because my fingers are bouncing up and down like my keyboard is a trampoline.)
since i haven’t read hardly a single blog post since mid-march, how are y’all? what’s been going on in your lives lately? i’d love to hear!
